[SMM Aluminum News Flash: Weekly Proportion of Liquid Aluminum Down 0.5 Percentage Points WoW]

This week, the SMM weekly proportion of liquid aluminum recorded 77.25%, down 0.5 percentage points WoW. On one hand, some sectors are transitioning from the peak season to the off-season, with operating rates showing marginal weakening. On the other hand, as aluminum prices surged, downstream processing fees came under pressure, leading some processing enterprises in certain sectors to implement production cuts. Smelters increased casting ingot production. This week, some aluminum rod enterprises carried out concentrated production cuts due to factors such as accumulation of finished product inventories, declining processing fees, and pressure from capital occupation.
